Meniscus (Murchison Gorge)
A single, linear tracking shot in which the rotated lens, situated at water level and allowing a field of view extending above and below water, 'scans' the remote, pristine, old growth environment along a bank of the gorge river. This 'widescreen' cinematic piece is then presented vertically. The meniscus is revealed as a dividing line, quivering in abstraction between reflections of the rare flora above and the darkness below.
