2006, site-specific installation, D'Entrecasteaux Channel, Tasmania.

A 300m expanse of 26 forms - paired, reclaimed hand basins with their backs enamelled - were placed in the D’Entrecasteaux Channel’s tidal flats south of Hobart. The basins were assimilated by the environment, constantly responding to being completely exposed or completely submersed in the tidal channel: at low tide basking in bright sunlight and on windy days buffeted by choppy water, at high tide at times shimmering below the surface.
